In Grace’s house, there’s this oddly specific spot on the curtains that keeps catching attention. Not the whole thing, just one little line right where the fabric of two curtains meets. And she recently took to Instagram to explain why that is the case. The video posted by the account @reefthegolden_ (with over 93.3k followers) shows her dog looking out the window through the curtains. And this Golden Retriever doesn’t care about the laundry. He’s just a very curious Florida boy.
Dog loves to stand between curtains and look through window in cute video
At the beginning of the reel, Grace lifts the curtains to show the camera. You can see the dirt right on the edge of the border for both curtains. Moreover, the in-video text is a question she perhaps receives often from guests: “Why are your curtains dirty right there?” Then the next shot explains it all.
Reef is standing there, and he has gently parted the curtains to look outside. He is completely focused on the action outside. He actually looks like a statue, standing so still. And that is why there is dirt on the curtains, because it constantly rubs against his fur every time he stands there.
At one point, he even stands up on the window ledge to get a better view. He starts pawing at the glass because he can see his favorite person: Dad. He’s outside by his truck. Grace knocks on the glass to make dad turn around and smile at them. It’s such a sweet moment in the video seeing her dog wait at the window between the curtains.
The post already has over 3.1k likes. People are calling these “love marks” rather than “dirt.” And it’s such a refreshing take on the whole thing. Someone also pointed out the “snoot imprints” on the window. Grace says she’s never washing those curtains now because they represent his little routine. And it’s perfect. He just wants to see Dad, no matter what it takes.
