A dog mom can only do so much without offending her pet, and these three Huskies are not having it. Instagram user @sassyhuskies shared a video featuring three “sassy” Huskies, who took no time to turn their mom’s shower plan into a family meeting. Naturally, Instagram can’t get enough of it. In the video, Eva, Ranger, and Ghost stand in a doorway like a security team on duty. Their mom tries to set a simple boundary before her shower time, but the dogs won’t hear any of it.
Dogs appear to ‘discuss’ mom’s request and then get offended
In the video, the Huskies’ mom tries to reason with them. She tells them, “Mama doesn’t need all three puppies to shower, okay? Mama can do this by herself, I promise.” But the dogs hold their ground and stare back, so she repeats herself, “I can shower by myself.”
Then, the dogs wander off together for a moment to “confer” before returning with a lot of howling. And as their howling starts up, their mom tries to maintain peace, requesting, “Please don’t be offended.” However, the Huskies keep protesting. Meanwhile, the hilarious on-screen texts echo their inner voices, starting with captions like, “U ungratefloof,” “We tryna pawtect u,” “Da audacity,” and “If shower monster gets u, then don’t call us.”
The video’s on-screen caption reads, “They were very Pawfended,” while the caption adds, “They were pretty pawfended about this one, this yelling went on for 3 minutes.”
It is typical for Huskies to talk back. Besides, many dogs treat their humans’ daily routines as group activities. So, if these three dogs usually follow their mom around the house, telling them she does not need them in the shower can feel like she is benching them. In other words, Eva, Ranger, and Ghost heard “you’re off the case,” and the dog mom had to get an earful.
