How does your pooch react when you come back home from a trip? Most likely, they will jump at you with excitement, follow you around the house, or even narrate their adventures by howling. This rescue dog was more than happy to see his dad after a few days. However, instead of jumping at him, the furball makes the most adorable move, leaving the owner emotional.
Rescue dog wants nothing but cuddles from dad after he is home
This rescue dog, named Cactus, was beyond happy to see his dad, Michael Henry, back home from a trip. But instead of jumping at him instantly or following him around the house or simply growling to show his disappointment for leaving him for a few days, the pooch does something touching. According to the video on @cactustherescue, the only thing the pup wanted to do with his parent was cuddle.
When the dad lies down on a couch, the fur baby instantly jumps on the couch. He wags his tail, takes a big yawn, paws the dad, and lies next to him, cuddling with his dad in the most adorable way. Henry was touched by the pup’s act as he mentioned the caption, “I was gone for a few days, and Cactus wasted no time climbing onto the couch for cuddles when I got home.”
Henry even revealed the trick that he used to let Cactus feel his presence even when he was not around. “I left him this shirt while I was gone so he’d still have my smell… and I’m wearing the same one here,” he mentioned. Needless to say, many dog lovers were left emotional by their bond, as one person said, “Daddy is home! Omg so precious and special.”
Another pet lover remarked, “Awwww, he loves his Daddy so much!!” Due to their bonding, the video of the rescue dog and the dad has so far gained more than 15K likes, as of the time of writing.
