Fur babies most often get excited when they know they will get a treat. But some of them have learned signals and tricks, which tell them beforehand that they are receiving their favorite snack. This Instagram video shows how a Corgi is more than prepared for his “after dinner treat.” In the caption, the owner explains that the pooch is well aware of the routine post-dinner when he receives his “brushy bite.” So, whenever he hears the words, the dog drops everything and obediently settles in his bed.
Dog really, really wants his after dinner treat
In an adorable dog video on Instagram, a Corgi named Franky seems to wait for his treat every day after dinner. Through an on-screen text, the owner mentions, “Watch my corgi get excited for his after dinner treat.” As per the caption, the snack appears to be a dental chew.
Furthermore, the dog mom explains the context, saying, “After dinner, brushy bite is A MUST! It’s one of his favourite things, and as soon as he hears those words, he’ll go straight to his bed and wait for us to give him one.”
The clip then shows the fur baby sitting beside the owner, expecting something from her. Then, the woman forms a question very slowly and asks, “Is the word you are looking for brushy bite?” Throughout the sentence, Franky’s enthusiasm can be noticed through the movements of his pointy ears.
When he hears “brushy bites,” the pooch turns towards his side and calmly walks to his bed. Although he must be excited on the inside, the Corgi doesn’t show it through his expression. But his body language seemingly gives it away.
With excitement, he walks towards his dog bed and hops in it. He sits like a good boy and looks at his mom with eager eyes. Soon, the owner brings his favorite snack, which appears to make him happy in the dog dinner video.
