Video Shows Escaped Puppies Eating, Drinking, and Sleeping at Stranger’s Home

Finding two random dogs on your doorstep is basically the universe telling you that your original plans for the day are officially cancelled. Dilslee, a fitness instructor who usually spends her time sharing life through film on @dilslee, had a massive surprise during her morning walk. In the video, we learn that she found two little puppies sitting all alone on some steps. They looked like two tiny brothers just waiting for someone to help. In the video, she calls them “little babies” and immediately starts handing out treats. It wasn’t exactly the “side quest” she had scheduled for her Thursday, but she couldn’t just leave them there.

Escaped puppies go about their routine at stranger’s home

The first thing she does is get them some water because they are clearly parched. She calls them “thirsty boys” as they lap it all up. And since no one was at her home, and it was way too hot to leave them on a balcony, she ended up loading them into her car. The puppies look like mixed-breed rescues, and in the video, they seem to handle the car ride like total pros.

Once they arrive at her house, the real chaos begins. She puts some food down, and they actually inhale it in seconds. “It’s literally like they’ve never eaten before,” she says while watching them clear the bowl. One of them is a total “bouncy” personality, while the other is a bit more of a chill one who just wants to hang out near her.

She had a full workday planned, but that obviously goes out the window the second the puppies get home. That is just how it goes when you’re dealing with a “side quest” involving two tiny intruders. Over 1,800 people have liked the clip, and the comments are full of people saying this is basically a dream come true. One person joked about how work always gets interrupted by sleeping pups.

The video ends with the two of them finally snuggled up on a red towel. Dilslee is whispering “sweet angel” while they sleep, wondering how her life turned into a puppy daycare so fast. She has since posted part two of the saga, and there will be a part three, as well. So if you’re now invested in the puppies’ lives, follow along for the full story.
