Great Danes love to sleep between 12 and 18 hours a day. And these “lap dogs” love to squeeze into cozy, shared spaces like beds and couches to take a nap. Even this Great Dane does something similar. However, the way this pooch slides into a nap position left many laughing online.
The clip on @euro_dane_bros shows furbabies Asa and Tiny Tim in the living room with Asa on the couch, yawning and hinting that it’s her sleep time. However, it is Tim who draws the owner’s attention with his act.
While the mom is initially focused on Asa, the paw parents immediately notice how the giant pooch takes his place on the couch. Once the “sleepy dog” climbs on the couch, he simply rests his back on the couch, slides and lands directly on the handrest, without any extra effort, to take his nap.
And it seems, this method amused the other pooch who was watching him “slide down into nap position.” “Just a little dog sliding into position for a nap. Asa was amazed at his technique,” revealed the pet parent in the caption.
