Think about simultaneously parenting an older dog and a puppy. Their morning routine might be similar to these two pups, who are 8 years old and 8 months old. Uploaded on @kirstykaminski, the mom, Kirsten Kaminski, shows how her 8-month-old pup, Berry, and 8-year-old pooch, Luna, behave in the morning.

The clip shows Kaminski sitting with both the fur babies on the couch when Berry starts jumping and playing with Luna, much to her displeasure. The little pup is full of energy and wants to simply start the morning on a high note. While the unlike older humans, the older dog simply wants to relax and start the day slowly. But it does not happen as the pup keeps nudging his older sister to play with him.

Luna even shows her resentment by growling at Berry and trying to bite him, but the little pup does not take no for an answer. He keeps trying till the end, until the mom intervenes and kisses both of them.

The reel, captioned “the reality of a 7-year-old age gap,” instantly drew a lot of attention from the netizens. They left heart-warming messages for the fur balls, with one saying, “I love how the baby is understanding and just like “yep get it out….we know this will be over in 5 minutes” hahaha.” Another person commented, “Little whippersnapper.”

Some of the followers found the clip relatable and mentioned, “This is so real! This was my 10 year old and 6 month old lol when I got her lol.” Another paw parent revealed, “This is what my 2 year old basset does to my 9 year old basset.”
