Taking toys from a dog is next to impossible. After all, it prevents boredom, provides mental stimulation, and gives them comfort, among other things. Even this clip is about one such pooch, named Archie Anirudhan, a Cavapoo, who refuses to give his favourite plaything.
Uploaded on @heyitsarchiedawg, the reel shows the “Treat-powered athlete” on a couch adjusting himself in the blue blanket with a Gingerbread pillow on his side.
However, just when the pup sees the paw parent looking at him from one corner of the room, Archie immediately leaves his blanket and grabs his favorite toy in his mouth and places his paws on it, while looking at the owner, as if hinting, “I won’t give you up.”
And if you are wondering why the pup is behaving in such a way, it’s because the pooch saw “the Christmas decorations being put away but gingerbread pillow” is his “favorite toy right now.” Hence, Archie is trying his best to safeguard his toy with all his wit.
No wonder the dogs’ protective act has won many hearts online, and many paw parents found Archie’s act relatable. One dog parent said, “Our gingerbread man is still out too!!
