A hilarious Instagram video from user @too.cute.labs shows two English Labrador Retrievers, Stink and Bink, turning a potentially simple car ride into a huge task. Together, they prove that teamwork is not always part of the plan.
Bink is desperately trying to get in the car, but Stink has other plans — and he certainly won’t let his brother get in until he puts up a good fight. Meanwhile, their owner just wants them in the car already.
Getting the Labradors into the car is quite the task
The video opens with Bink, one of the Labrador Retrievers, trying to climb inside the car while Stink has already claimed the seat, sitting on the edge as if he is in charge. Outside, Bink stands on his back legs with his front paws up, trying to figure out how to get inside.
He looks ready to get in, but he mostly just taps the seat with his paws and hesitates while Stink keeps him from coming in — and as the owner writes in the caption, “Stink you are not helping.” Their owner repeatedly urges Bink to “get in,” but the pup just wouldn’t. And Stink, instead of making room, keeps swatting at the seat and at Bink’s face, turning it into a classic sibling fight.
Viewers jumped in with their own takes, comparing the dogs’ chaotic energy to kids squabbling before an outing. One commenter wrote, “There’s always a little fighting when going for truck ride. In the end, the standoff does not resolve without interference. The owner steps in, picks Bink up, and slides him into the car beside Stink — finally fixing a problem Bink never quite solved on his own. It was a struggle, but the two dogs were finally in the car.
