Golden Retriever Goes Viral for Doing This With Squeaky Toy

When it comes to toys, dogs can get too attached to them. Letting go of a new toy or their favorite toy is never easy, as it helps them stay calm, provides comfort, serves as emotional support, and sometimes helps them stimulate their hunting instinct. Even this dog mom got a squeaker toy for her Golden Retriever, and the video shows how quickly the pup got attached to it. The adorable clip has so far garnered more than 77K likes at the time of writing.

Golden Retriever is a little too attached to his squeaky toy

One of the best ways to boost mental stimulation and encourage physical exercise in dogs is to gift them a toy. It not only helps them prevent boredom but also sometimes averts destructive behaviors.

Even this dog mom got a squeaky toy for her Golden Retriever, Reef, thinking the pup would love it, but he gets a little too attached to it, creating trouble for the paw parent. Uploaded on @reefthegolden_, the reel shows the “mush king” lying on the ground with his toy in his mouth. And as expected, he loves squeezing the toy with his mouth.

But the pup got a little too attached to it, as not once did he leave the toy. He just closed his eyes and moved his head to hear the sound from the object, leaving the mom laughing and adoring Reef’s actions.

Seeing how much the pup loves the toy, the mom is convinced she “will never know peace again” because Reef loves the squeaker so much. She even mentions in the caption that “he did this for 5 min straight.”

Soon after the upload, the video drew a lot of attention for the Golden Retriever’s playful style with the squeaky toy. Followers not only left laughing emojis in the comments section of the post but also supported the pup. A person said, “His musical masterpiece demands attention.” While another dog lover mentioned, “It’s the eyes closed to the music of his symphony that gets me.” “He’s meditating,” wrote another follower.
