Great Danes are one sweet dog. But this breed requires a lot of care, especially in winter, as their short hair and low body fat provide little protection against cold, causing them to chill quickly. That is why, as a precaution, they need to layer up when heading out into the cold. And this clip just shows that. The video on social media shows how a Great Dane gets all dressed up before going out for a walk in minus 25 degrees Celsius.
Great Dane getting ready for his winter walk is everything
Great Danes need to be protected well during winter or freezing temperatures to prevent cold-related illnesses. Even this dog mom is making sure her Harlequin Great Dane, Huckleberry, is layered properly to avoid any health-related issues later.
The GRWM Video on @huckleberry.ca shows the three-year-old giant pup getting all dressed up for his walk outside. And since he “hates the cold,” the paw parent is dressing him up in a hooded fleece coat to keep him warm and comfortable outside.
And that’s not the only piece of clothing that the pooch wears. Huckleberry then wears, most likely, an insulated coat along with a matching, stylish beaded collar.
To protect the pup’s ears and neck, the mom makes sure to cover them with a black-and-white scarf. Needless to say, Huckleberry looks dapper in his dress, ready for a much-awaited walk. And it seems the pup does wear his booties too, but they are “Not pictured,” as mentioned in the caption.
Nevertheless, the dog’s video was instantly loved by many online for the pup’s behavior and his appearance. “Such a good behavior,” said one follower. Another dog lover mentioned, “Awwwwwww fashion Dog.”
One viewer commented, “He is perfect.” While a second person called the pooch, “For the well-dressed gentleman.” The clip received more than 26K likes at the time of writing.
