Video: Dog Is Too ‘Serious’ About His Bedtime Routine

If you are thinking that dogs don’t have a fixed sleep schedule, then this video of a dog’s bedtime routine might make you think differently. This pooch is not only punctual about his bedtime but also makes sure his owners and the guests know about his nap time in the most adorable way. Needless to say, the pooch’s way of getting the message across has left many netizens in stitches. As a result, the reel has received more than 5K likes at the time of writing.

Owner shows how dog reminds guests about his ‘strict’ bedtime routine

When it comes to bedtime, this pooch named Echo is not ready to compromise. He has to go to bed at a fixed time, and he makes sure everyone knows about it.

Uploaded by @culinory.pet, the clip shows Echo entering the room with a blanket on his back and a pillow in his mouth. Why? To tell its paw parents and the guests that it’s now his nap time, so they had better leave.

And if you are thinking the pup might be joking around, well, it does not seem so by his actions. Even the dog parents reveal in the caption that Echo is “serious about bedtime.”

But what’s interesting is that the pup does not bark once. He simply brings his bedding and lays it in front of the paw parent and the guests, not once but twice, indicating it’s his sleep time now.

“My dog coming to remind out guests that it is 9pm and lights better be out because he has a strict bedtime routine,” the owner tells about the dog’s action in the clip.

And it seems the furball’s way of informing about his sleep schedule has left many impressed. They wholeheartedly supported the pup action. One person voiced for the Echo and said that the guests should “Start making your way to the door by 8:45 and be in the car by 9.” While another pet lover commented, “Guests are welcome. After bedtime they’re on borrowed time.”

However, one pet parent shared a similar experience with their pooch, with one saying, “What is it with dogs and 9 pm? Mine too-he’ll actually try around 8 or so. My friends dog is the same.”
