The relatively new account is famous for its nightly “toof brushing ASMR.”
Dog nearly falls asleep while getting teeth brushed
A recent Instagram clip shows just how incredibly chill a little pup is about oral hygiene. Instead of fighting the process, his human gets to calmly brush the dog’s teeth, as we see in the video. All this while Charlie lies belly-up on the sofa, looking like he’s about to drift off into a deep sleep.
When the video opens, Charlie is stretched out on the couch, paws loose, body fully relaxed. As his owner thoroughly works the toothbrush and toothpaste around his mouth, Charlie just melts further into the cushions.
His sister, Maple Mae, keeps a close watch nearby, perhaps supervising the technique. After all, it’s going to be her turn next. At one point, Charlie’s eyes get heavy, and he looks ready to nap right through the procedure.
This level of zen is shocking to other Dachshund parents watching. One viewer commented, “Omg my wiener would’ve absolutely lost it… tried to check if he had a grass seed in his mouth and he was furious.” Another jokingly added, “As a weiner owner you cannot convince me this isn’t AI.”
It just goes to show that with a consistent routine, even the spunkiest pups can learn to tolerate having their teeth cleaned. By the end of the clip, the results speak for themselves. His human lifts his jowls to reveal gleaming, plaque-free chompers that would make any dentist jealous. His sister even swoops in for a quick smell check to confirm the freshness. It’s a level of dental dedication that most of us can only aspire to.
