Instead, he just stares back. He stands still like a statue, as if he can pretend to be inanimate to escape the interrogation.
Then the owner tries the usual bargain, asking, “Do you want a treat?” Still nothing from Duke, though — he stays locked in, determined to hold onto his “treasure.”
