Duffy the Maltipoo has made it clear that she considers herself the ultimate authority over balcony activity. In a video shared by her owner on Instagram under the handle @duffythemaltipoobear, the fluffy watchdog is seen standing on the back of a couch, carefully monitoring the view outside a large window.
As soon as Duffy spots movement on a neighboring balcony, her demeanor changes. She lets out a series of sharp, low barks paired with tiny growls, making it obvious that she is not impressed. According to the on-screen text, the “offense” was simple. A neighbor was using their own balcony without first receiving Duffy’s approval.
The video becomes even funnier when, mid-rant, Duffy accidentally sneezes. The moment is brief but perfectly timed, and her owner leaned into the joke in the caption, writing that “the sneeze was personal.” To heighten the humor, the caption also mockingly warned the rest of the building. Duffy’s owner advises all 50 floors of neighbors not to step onto their balconies without first passing Duffy’s inspection, or risk being silently judged by “a tiny floof from the window.”
