Video: Foster Dog Comes up With Her Own Unique Wiggle

LuLu the foster dog is officially running the internet, thanks to an adorable Instagram video that shows her doing what her foster family proudly calls the “LuLu Wiggle.” Instagram user and foster mom @thefatdog_fosterdogmom shared the video, starting with a confession: “I did not mean to teach her this” — and still, LuLu did not just show her the move, she did it upon command. Safe to say, “LuLu’s Wiggle” is pure joy.

In the video, the foster mom explained that LuLu does an upside‑down dance move all the time, almost like it’s an art form. One day, just for fun, her foster mom said, “Do THE LuLu Wiggle,” and that’s when things got wild, because “She paused. Thought about it. THEN DID IT,” according to the foster mom’s text on the video. However, she could not believe her eyes, thinking it was a “fluke.” When she asked LuLu to do it again, the foster dog did it, with the owner excitedly writing, “LuLu Wiggle confirmed. I’m losing my mind.”

By the third time she asked, LuLu began to start the move, spotted a snack, and obviously ate it first. Then she remembered she had a performance to finish, so she dropped right back into the wiggle, and it was as if she knew she had absolutely nailed it.

As funny as LuLu’s little dance move looks, dogs rolling onto their backs and wiggling is usually a sign that they are happy and relaxed. Or they are just trying to get a good scratch in. Once they notice that humans lose their minds over it, many dogs would turn it into their go‑to move to enjoy the attention — and LuLu clearly figured out she had a hit on her paws.

Whether or not it was an accidental trick, the foster dog’s dance move shows that the world needs more dogs who dance upside down just because it feels good.
