She, in fact, did the sweetest thing during the New Year celebration to make her rescue pup feel comfortable. No wonder her video is now being loved by many for her thoughtfulness. Rescue dog ‘terrified’ of fireworks finds safe space in room in video
Like most of the dogs, even Myko, a “Human in a dog suit,” is “terrified” of fireworks. And like every pet parent, even his dog mom went out all the way to make her furry pooch feel safe and comfortable at such a time. The paw parent shared the video on @mykomushroom showing how they made their rescue pup “feel safe on NYE.”
The clip shows the pooch being called by his mom to see his redecorated room so that he feels secure while “everyone’s out partying” at the NYE. As expected, the pup “covered with his Blue Blankie” runs towards his new “Boomie Roomie” and checks out the decor, before sitting and munching on his “emotional support broccoli.”
Speaking about the pooch, the owner even mentions in the caption that “Myko has a very difficult time with fireworks, but ever since we created his Boomie Roomie, he has a safe and quiet place to go to, which has made a huge difference. The emotional support broccoli helps, too.”
She further inquires the fellow pet parents, “How do you help your pets feel safe on NYE?” And in no time, the post section of the rescue dog video was filled with answers. One person said, “Support broccoli is so important we’re playing calm music and trying drugs.” While another paw parent revealed, “Eli has gotten his sleep treats (Hemp chews) and will maybe play music loudly or fireworks in the TV as a distraction.”
