He’s proudly dragging along a lampshade, cord, and all — with a stuffed bear as its base.

The Golden Retriever’s mom explains that the lamp, which belonged to Erik’s nursery, has been sitting in the office forever. Duke clearly decided it was time to “relocate” it.
Once he finally makes it to his bed, the pup settles down and rests his head right on the stuffed bear base, as if he’s claimed it for himself. His mom informs us that she’s sentimental about the lamp and will get it back. However, for the moment, she believes Duke is helping them move things from the back office, which they are redecorating.
