Calypso, affectionately called Cali by her owner, recently went on a shopping trip to PetSmart with her mom. The outing took a funny turn just as they were leaving the store. As they approached the exit, Cali planted her paws firmly on the floor and refused to budge. It soon became clear that the stubborn pup was waiting for a treat at the payment counter.
Her mom tried to coax her along, gently tugging on the leash, but Cali was having none of it. The video shows the Pit Bull sliding slightly across the floor as she stood her ground. One woman even stopped to ask Cali’s mom if she wanted a treat from the counter, while a PetSmart employee kindly offered access to a nearby treat display. Unfortunately, the treat container turned out to be empty, leaving Cali without the prize she was so clearly expecting.
After a brief standoff, the pup finally relented and walked away with her mom, “empty-pawed.” While the video ends there, we assume Cali likely received a special treat once she got home, making up for her disappointment at the store.
