Video: Golden Retriever Puppy Flaunts Adorable Costume Before ‘Shark Attack’

Pet costumes have become the internet’s favorite guilty pleasure. Whether it’s a Bulldog dressed as a taco or a cat reluctantly wearing a pirate hat, there’s something universally funny about animals embodying characters they have absolutely no idea they’re playing.

Now, a video shows a Golden Retriever puppy joining the lineup of furry fashion icons as the most unlikely of ocean predators. And let’s just say, his “attack” is more likely to melt hearts than inspire fear.

Video shows Golden Retriever puppy is attack-ready in adorable shark costume

Kiwi, a young Golden Retriever, has become the latest four-legged star of the internet. His owner, Kate, recently shared a clip of him trying out a new shark costume, and the results were nothing short of hilarious.

The video begins with the Golden Retriever puppy running around the house, proudly carrying an Amazon parcel in his mouth, as if announcing that something exciting has just arrived. Text onscreen reads, “Can I show you my shark costume?,” setting the stage for the big reveal.

Moments later, the video cuts to Kiwi wobbling around in his new outfit, the gray shark costume making him look both fierce and irresistibly cute. With text onscreen dramatically flashing “SHARK ATTACK!!!,” the scene becomes even funnier.

However, the pup doesn’t exactly strike fear — his clumsy walk and wide-eyed innocence only add to the charm. In the caption, Kate jokingly warns, “Don’t get too close… this cute little shark is always ready for a shark attack!”

The internet quickly took notice. Since its posting in July, the video has racked up over 202K likes and more than 2 million views. Viewers flocked to the comments section, adding their own playful takes on the “shark attack.” One person joked, “Oh no, run for your life! This sharky is going to get us all!”

Another imagined the famous soundtrack playing in the background, writing, “I can picture the Jaws music when the cuddle shark enters the room.” Some kept it short and sweet. “Yes Instagram, I am interested in this video,” one user wrote, while another declared, “Aww, the cutest thing I saw today.”
