Video: Owner Films Dog Chilling in His Own ‘Nursery’

It’s often said that dogs are like children, and in many homes, that comparison is more fact than metaphor. Walk into one owner’s house and you’ll find that even the nursery belongs to her four-legged “kid.” Loki, her Blue Staffy, now has a whole room to call his own, and judging by the video, he’s totally chilling in it.

Dog loves to chill in his own room in adorable video

Loki, a two-year-old Blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier, is now the proud resident of his very own nursery. His owner shared a video on Instagram of him lounging in the cozy space, which used to be a spare room. The clip begins with a playful text overlay. It reads, “& suddenly you’re in your thirties and you now have a nursery room for your 2 year old dog.”

As the camera pans across the room, Loki can be seen wagging his tail happily while perched on a bed. Surrounded by soft toys and comfort items, the pup looks completely at ease. Eventually, he stretches out, closes his eyes, and drifts off to sleep, all while his owner gently scratches his head. The peaceful scene makes it clear that Loki has settled into his new quarters without hesitation.

In the caption, his owner wrote humorously, “The spare room takeover has begun…”. She even added that Loki could use some decorating tips to complete his little sanctuary. Of course, viewers didn’t hesitate to weigh in with their ideas.

One user compared Loki’s room to an oversized version of what most dogs get, calling it the “biggest crate ever.” Another chimed in with a decorating suggestion, writing, “Paint big sticks on the walls,” as if the pup would appreciate a mural of his favorite things. Someone else pointed out what they thought was the real issue: “The only problem I can see here is… that sweet potato mustn’t sleep on its own!” One person suggested adding finishing touches with “paw prints and bones.”
