Video Shows 3 Reasons Why Dog Is Secretly a Human

Many dog parents might have noticed small quirks and habits that make their pets appear unusually human-like. This could be in the way they sleep or how they interact with their family members. A new video highlights this in a particularly entertaining way. It shows a dog whose behaviors have led his owner to jokingly conclude that there might just be a human hiding inside him.

Owner points out why their dog is a human

A Weimaraner owner recently uploaded a video explaining why they are convinced their dog might be human. The clip, shared by @weimaraner.ace, begins with onscreen text reading, “3 reasons why I’m convinced that there’s a human inside my dog.”

The first reason comes as the camera pans to the dog sleeping on a couch with a pillow tucked neatly under his head. According to the pet parent, their pup prefers sleeping with both a blanket and a pillow. His sleeping habits mirror those of most humans in an unexpectedly precise way.

The next scene shows the Weimaraner sitting upright on what seems to be his bed. He has his back straight and eyes focused forward in the clip, as if lost in thought. The owner notes that the dog often sits this way. He appears to contemplate life or simply observe the household with a level of attentiveness that feels distinctly human.

The final reason comes during mealtime, where the dog is seen eating food from a spoon. The pet parent explains that this unusual habit makes it hard not to see their pet as a miniature human enjoying a proper meal.

One commenter wrote, “I’m convinced that Weimaraners ARE part human,” clearly agreeing with the owner’s humorous observation. Another chimed in with a personal anecdote: “My dog sits on a chair while we have dinner.”

Some viewers even took the joke a step further. One playful comment under the video read, “Last test, can he say ‘I love you?’” imagining what it would take to fully confirm dogs were indeed secretly human.
