Video: Owner Captures What Dog Does Everytime He Is Nosey

This curious little video opens with a dog standing at the window, chin on the ledge, an orange ball tucked in his mouth like a secret he’s not giving up. Outside, life carries on, but Axel just stays planted, watching every detail like it’s his job. His human gives the moment extra drama with a voice-over told entirely from Axel’s perspective. “I do be nosey,” the narration says, and suddenly it plays like a sitcom — the daily life of a dog who just can’t help snooping. And judging from the comments section, it looks like a bona fide Doberman trait.

Instagram video shows Doberman and his nosey activities throughout the day

Right from the caption — “On scale of 1–10, how nosey is your pet? Axel is an 11” — you know what’s coming. The video doesn’t disappoint. One moment, he’s peeking through the bathroom door, the next, he’s shadowing his human on the couch, eyes glued to every page she turns.

At one point, he even tilts his head, almost like he’s pretending to read over her shoulder. “Like I don’t care what you do… but I wanna know,” the voice over teases, as Axel pops up from behind a wall in the dining room, curious but never judgmental. He’s always curious, but never in a pushy way — it’s more that he hates missing out on family life.

And for the finale? He shoves his nose into the tiny crack of the back door, desperate to keep tabs on both inside and out. You can almost imagine him thinking, “If there’s action happening, I’ll be the first to know.”

The video’s racked up nearly 9K likes, and the comments prove Axel isn’t alone in his habits. One viewer joked, “Look, he was hired to be protection so nosey comes as an added bonus.” Another Doberman parent nailed it: “Where are you going? Can I come? What are you eating? Can I have some? I wouldn’t have it any other way.” Honestly? We’re with them — Axel’s nosey streak just makes him all the more lovable.
