Video: Dogs Are Way Too Serious About Watching Over Their House

German Shepherds have a reputation for being one of the most loyal and protective breeds out there, and a recent Instagram Reel proves the same. If house-watching were a full-time job, they would be the best employees. This video shows not one but two dogs on duty as they watch over their house.

Instagram video shows two dogs on guard and watching over their house

This Instagram video by @jelly.gsd shows two dogs, German Shepherds Wally and Jessy, on house watch duty. Both clutching balls in their mouths and excellently multitasking, the pups showed up for the “neighborhood watch committee.”

In the clip, the furbabies stood in alert mode at the fence of what seems to be their home, while their eyes followed a car that dared to pass by. All of a sudden, playtime is not the priority because security always comes first.

Hilariously, the narration seems to be the exact opposite and calls the two dogs nosy, but “not in a like judgmental way.” One would never know if they were just being prying neighbors or actually looking out for their fellow humans. However, one thing seemed certain — nobody would dare cross the territory protected by these brave boys.

The video further showed that the GSDs take their job a bit too seriously. Commenters also believe the same, as they shared their remarks about the two guard dogs on the “neighborhood watch committee.”

One user pointed out that they were so ready to work. Another person called them the “pawfect paw patrol.” Someone also said that the pups “must be gossiping about the neighbors.”

Meanwhile, a netizen wrote that they would “literally alter my route every day to make sure I drove by your house,” calling them “so sweet.” Another joked that they “would die laughing seeing them with their ball, watching me drive by.”
