Video: Owner Shares the Many Eyes of a Goldendoodle & It Gets Better Each Time

Some dogs master the art of communication with barks or tail wags. Others, like Mostly the Goldendoodle, do it all with their eyes, as can be seen in this video. In an Instagram Reel that’s been winning hearts online, his owner shows just how expressive this fluffy pup can be.

Right from pleading looks that could melt stone to side-eyes worthy of reality TV, Mostly proves that you don’t need words when your gaze says it all. Goldendoodles are known for being social, intuitive, and almost human-like with their expressions, and Mostly takes that reputation to the next level.

With nearly 20K likes, it’s clear that Mostly’s “eye language” has struck a chord with many. His human gives names to the looks we all secretly recognize. There’s the “bombastic side eye” that he throws while standing in the living room.

This is followed by Mostly standing on the bed with “extreme puppy eyes” that could sway even the toughest heart. Then comes “I didn’t do it eyes,” a guilty-but-innocent stare that would fool any detective.

The funny video continues when Mostly shoves his face through his human’s legs, flashing the classic “give me your food eyes.” You know the kind that is compulsively demanding. This one is also paired with some barks.

And finally, the star of the show: “unbothered eyes.” As his owner teases in the caption, “The last one” really does steal the spotlight. That calm, aloof gaze has commenters calling him part-human and declaring it their favorite of the bunch.

Goldendoodles are a cross between Golden Retrievers and Poodles, both breeds celebrated for their smarts and charm. Put those genes together and you get a pup like Mostly — equal parts goofy and soulful.

No wonder fans can’t get enough of his many looks. One person wrote, “Love them all.” Another user said, “Unbothered is my fav lol.”
