A heartwarming video showed a Golden Retriever bravely walking on an aluminum foil with “little support” from his owner. A furry dad and daughter duo, Ace and Sunday, have been winning the internet with their sweet shenanigans. The canines’ recent video showed them coming across an item — aluminum foil — that may have appeared strange to them. While Sunday was quick to walk over, Ace hesitated and wouldn’t step on it. The fur baby ended up overcoming the hurdle, thanks to his mama, and was “proud” of himself later on.
Golden Retriever walks on aluminum foil with owner’s encouragement in video
A video captured how a Golden Retriever duo, Ace and Sunday, walked over sheets of aluminum foil placed on the kitchen floor. The fur babies’ mama tested the theory that dogs wouldn’t walk over this item, which seemingly appears strange to them. The video showed how Ace and Sunday reacted to it. It was “easy peasy” for the daughter canine as she quickly crossed over and “had no problem” with it.
However, the case was different for Ace, who was not willing to step on aluminum foil. The mama soon realized the dad canine would “need some convincing.” They tried to give Ace a little push by holding cheese in front of him. The furry boy decided to try walking, but was soon taken aback. Ace hesitated and stepped back, while his mama continued giving him “some encouragement” and “support” because he is a “big baby.”
The doting owner even walked themselves, showing the canine how to walk over the sheets. Ace tried after watching his mama, but hesitated again. The owner then placed the piece of cheese on the aluminum foil and even gave him a small bite. However, Ace was still not willing to step on it. Eventually, the Golden Retriever built up the courage and trusted his mama. He took slow steps and finally crossed over.
The dog’s mama gushed that Ace was “SO proud” of himself after he finally overcame the little challenge. The mama added in the Instagram Reel’s caption, “Proof that with a little support and trust anything is possible,” and added, “whether you’re a dog or a human.”
