Getting a grooming session might be chaotic for most dogs, but it’s also soothing for a select few. A Samoyed named Nube underwent different stages of washing as her pet parent documented the process in an Instagram video on the account @nubethesamoyed. From shampooing to blow-drying, the dog only looked more adorable with each passing stage, and netizens couldn’t get enough. The canine was surprisingly calm during the session, cooperating with the groomers as gently as possible.

A traditional grooming session for each dog is different, varying by breed, coat type, and individual needs. For Nube the Samoyed, it was an extensive process, but it was well worth the wait. The owner recorded the dog’s various stages of wash time in an Instagram video earlier this month, which has since gone viral. In the caption, they said, “I can’t decide which stage of grooming is my favorite help me decide!”
The “Stages of washing A Samoyed ASMR” video began with Nube peacefully sitting in the grooming tub as one of the staff members showered her. The owner termed the first stage “Wet Llama,” as the wet dog quite literally resembled a llama. After a thorough wash, the groomers proceeded to the next stage, which the pet parent labeled “Shamppoyedu.”
For the second stage, the groomer gently rubbed their fingers through the Samoyed’s fur. They spread out the shampoo evenly for effective cleaning. Nube’s puppy eyes looking at the camera were proof enough that she was enjoying her session. The third stage, called “Babushka,” was a fan favorite, where the staff wrapped the dog’s head with a towel before proceeding to blow-dry her white coat.
At this point, Nube was at her calmest, almost looking sleepy from a good bath. The fourth stage, also known as the “Snowstorm,” documented the Samoyed’s de-shedding process. As the staff appeared to remove the dead undercoat from the dog’s fur, it flew everywhere, resembling a snowstorm. The next two stages, “Magestic Beast,” and “Muffin Paws,” involved a final blow dry and trimming the fur paws for a clean and crisp grooming.
The owner termed the final stage “Restored Polar Bear,” which featured the finished product — a beautiful looking Nube flaunting her fresh coat to fans in the Instagram video. Fans couldn’t stop adoring her and picked their favorite stages as well. Some even praised the white “Floofy princess” for being “such a good bear!”
