Both dogs posed during their photoshoot. While answering the Dogue questionnaire, the singer and pet parent credited none other than Rihanna for her dogs not having any last names.

Sabrina Carpenter’s dogs, Goodwin and Louie, recently graced the cover of Dogue 2025, the dog version of Vogue. In the meantime, the singer answered some fun questions about her pets for the magazine. When asked what were the full names of her dogs, the artist simply said, “It’s just Goodwin and Louie.” She then added, “They’re like Rihanna—they don’t need a last name.”
Sabrina Carpenter also shared several other details about her dogs. She revealed their astrological signs as well. “Goodwin is an Aries, and Louie is a Taurus,” she said. While answering the question, “What is the most human thing your dogs do?” the singer began with “This sounds so foo-foo, but Goodwin is really empathetic.” She then explained that Goodwin can understand whenever someone is feeling under the weather. “His eyes are humanlike. He’s got a lot of emotion; he has a lot of stories,” the artist added.
While answering the same question about Louie, Sabrina Carpenter said that the dog’s ears are the most humanlike. She further praised Louie by saying, “They’re so attuned. He’s such a good listener.” The singer added, “When you call his name, he actually comes to you.”
Sabrina Carpenter also revealed the habits of her dogs, 14-year-old Goodwin and 1-year-old Louie. The singer explained, “Goodwin grunts when he’s trying to get your attention.” “Louie spins in circles before he poops,” she disclosed.
