Video: Owner Shows How Expressive Corgis Can Be

While many dog breeds are expressive, it’s the Corgis who take the trophy for giving the best expressions ever. Need proof? Watch this video of the Corgis demonstrating their emotive nature. The hilarious clip was instantly loved by netizens. Due to the on-point similarities between the emojis and the Corgi’s expressions, the Instagram video soon became viral, racking up more than 123K likes at the time of writing.

Owner proves Corgis are ‘real life cartoon characters’ in cute video

Although small in size and built, Corgis take the crown in having the “most the expressive faces” ever. To prove the point, dog owners uploaded an Instagram video via @bradythecorgi showing various expressions of their Corgi duo. The reel shows Brady and Graffiti’s facial expressions bearing a stark resemblance to different emojis.

The clip starts with one of the fur babies giving similar expressions as a flushed face emoji with eyes wide open as if feeling embarrassed in a particular situation. When the pup was annoyed, he conveyed his message with an expressionless face, hinting that he was tired.

Even while swimming, the canine did not hesitate to tell his parents that he was stressed out with his facial expressions. But it was the side eye look that did all the talking when the pup hated being disturbed while enjoying the company of his dad.

Corgis also expressed their happiness with a sweet smile, which looked very much similar to the grinning face emoji. However, it soon changed to the confounded face emoji expression when the pup saw the bobby pin in the hands of the owner, showing he is angry and about to explode.

Seeing how expressive their pets are, the owners felt that “Corgis are just real life cartoon characters.” Turns out, netizens also believe the same. One person commented, “Emojis were born thanks to the expressions of Corgis.” Meanwhile, another user wrote, “Who needs words when you have those faces.” However, many dog lovers were smitten by the cute Corgis “side-eye” look in the video.
