However, just like kids who throw a fit when their favorite show ends, some canines take losing screentime seriously. Blue, a dog with an unmatched love for the TV show “Bluey,” recently stole the spotlight in a video capturing his hilarious meltdown when his viewing time was abruptly cut short.
Dog can’t get enough of TV in funny video
Blue, the Siberian Husky, has become somewhat of a television enthusiast, much to the amusement of his owners. The viral video captured the dog comfortably lounging in his room as he enjoys a morning session of “Bluey,” the popular kids’ animated TV show. However, when his owner, Corey, walked in and interrupted the binge-watch, things took a hilarious turn.
“You’ve been watching Bluey all morning,” Corey said before he reached for the remote and shut the television off. That’s when Blue sprang into action — quite literally. He jumped up and started barking at Corey, clearly upset, as if to ask, “Why would you do that?”
The back-and-forth that followed could easily be mistaken for a conversation between a parent with their screentime-obsessed child. Corey explained that ever since Blue got his own TV, all he did was binge-watch “Bluey.” The pup, undeterred, continued to argue his case through a series of sharp barks. At one point, he started digging in his bed in frustration, a classic toddler-like tantrum if there ever was one.
Corey tried to persuade Blue by reminding him that his furry sibling had been outside playing alone all morning. Still, Blue held his ground. Eventually, his human had to give up and leave the room, possibly realizing there’s no winning this debate.
Fans shared their amusement in the comments, with one asking if Blue ultimately won since the television wasn’t seen turning back on. Corey jokingly replied that he left Blue to figure out how to power it up again. Another commenter called Blue “the master of debate,” while someone else joked, “Blue is part human!
