In a TikTok video captured by the pet parent, the dog was bidding farewell to his mom, who was to leave for a “workout class.” Accompanied by his dad, the canine looked visibly sad and confused as the owner made her way to get her exercise. Instead of returning home, he decided to wait until he could reunite with her.
The owner captioned the TikTok video, “POV: your dog can’t emotionally handle dropping mom off to a workout class.” Charlie began wagging his tail as he slowly began separating from his mom. Although his dad proceeded to leave, he noticed that the dog stood still, with his eyes still fixed on his favorite hooman. Eventually, the Golden Retriever made himself comfortable on the sidewalk, indicating that he wasn’t going to move until he saw his mom again.
