There’s something incredibly soothing about watching a pet being pampered. That’s exactly why a recent video featuring a foster puppy’s first-ever spa day is capturing hearts online.

Emily Dunn, a foster volunteer from Raleigh, North Carolina, recently shared a video on her Instagram and TikTok account (@wally_the_pit), featuring a tiny rescue puppy experiencing a spa day for the first time. The video shows the puppy sitting comfortably in Dunn’s lap with her belly up as she gets her nails trimmed. In the caption, Dunn humorously wrote, “A perfect 5-star client! Easiest nail trim ever???”
According to Dunn, the American Staffordshire Terrier was found as a stray just days before and was severely emaciated. Despite her tough past, the little pup seemed to completely trust her foster mom, allowing the trim without a fuss.
As the video continues, Dunn gives the puppy a much-needed bath, gently washing away the dirt and grime from life on the streets. To complete the spa treatment, she places a soft bunny headband on the pup. Later in the clip, the puppy is seen wrapped up in a tiny bathrobe, looking cozy and content.
Dunn has been fostering through Hope Animal Rescue for nearly four years and frequently shares updates on her rescues. When she posted the video a week ago, it quickly received over 494K views and 34K likes on Instagram alone. In the comments section, one person wrote, “It’s so touching how she keeps looking at you for reassurance and love.” Another commented, “She deserves this treatment EVERY SINGLE DAY.”
In her caption, Dunn mentioned that the puppy is not yet listed for adoption, but those interested can submit an application through Hope Animal Rescue’s website. Given the overwhelming love for this tiny spa-loving pup, it’s clear that when she’s ready, she’ll have no trouble finding a forever home.
