Barry Keoghan charms Lola the Husky in the video of his Dodo Dream Date, which is everything he had expected. Keoghan recently had a date with the 1-year-old dog, who has been single for about a month after her owner surrendered her. The Irish actor calls Lola “gorgeous” and hopes that the video reaches the right audience so she can find a “lovely home” through adoption.

Barry Keoghan quickly establishes a playful bond with his Dodo Dream Date Husky in the video, who in return gives him multiple kisses. During his date with Lola, Keoghan answers some questions, the first being, “What’s an ideal date to you?” He responds by gesturing toward the canine, “Sorta like that!”
Later, the actor plays kickball with Lola and again calls her “gorgeous.” Shortly after, the dog walks away and the interviewer informs him about the “hard time” Huskies face with adoption as there are “a lot of Huskies in L.A.”
Barry Keoghan then cuts up some watermelon for Lola the Husky in the video where he reveals, “I don’t usually cook.” He cheekily remarks it “means that there’s some sort of connection” with the furbaby. Keoghan also talks about his dog Koda, a Czech Sheepdog, who is back in London.
Next on their date, Keoghan and Lola head to the swimming pool, where he steps inside and gently asks the Husky to join him. However, she hesitates and walks away. The interviewer then teases Keoghan because his date left and he replies, “Yep! And I’m left with roses in the swimming pool.” The two then talk a little bit more about Koda when the actor recalls the time he went swimming with Koda in the sea.
Barry Keoghan and his Husky date finally get into the plunge pool, which he believes is more like a “first date thing.” Keoghan eventually thinks a “family home” would be best for Lola as she is “comfy around people.” Ending his time with the dog, the actor notes, “I did have a great time with Lola.” He also hopes that she “finds a home.”
