Duke, nicknamed Dukie, loves to accompany Ree Drummond at her studios when she cooks something new. In one of her posts, the culinary expert mentions that the “real star of the show is Duke, whose pookie headedness hovers here and there throughout the recipes.”

The breed of Ree Drummond’s dog Duke is a Labrador Retriever. They are a favorite breed due to their friendly and easygoing nature. Moreover, they are athletic and make loving companions and enthusiastic fetch partners for families with kids. But since they are enthusiastic athlete, they require a lot of exercise like swimming, and running to keep them physically and mentally fit.
Depending on the gender, Labrador Retriever can stand 21-24 inches tall, and weigh 55-80 pounds. Their lifespan is 11-13 years.
Ree Drummond is also a dog mom to Basset Hounds: Henry, Shelby, Rusty, and Fred; Yellow Lab: Lucy, and German shepherd Presley. She also had other Basset Hounds named Charlie and Walter. Sadly they passed away in 2017 and 2023, respectively. She and her husband Ladd Drummond are parents to kids: Paige, Bryce, Alex, Jamar, and Todd.
