Simon Cowell’s Dog Freddie: Breed, Age, and More

Everyone knows Simon Cowell as a judge of America’s Got Talent, but did you know he is also a dog lover? Yes, the media mogul loves canines and has housed many pooches over the years. One of his fur buddies is Freddie with whom he shares a special connection. Learn more about Simon Cowell’s dog Freddie’s age and breed here.

How old is Simon Cowell’s dog Freddie?

The exact age of Simon Cowell’s dog Freddie is hard to determine but the pup was not initially his.

As per Simon Cowell’s official website, which is filled with some beautiful clicks of his fur babies, Freddie was the media mogul’s mom, Julie Brett’s pet dog. Cowell immediately adopted the dog in 2016 after his mom passed away.

For Simon Cowell, dogs are like his children. During the birth of his son Eric (with fiancée Lauren Silverman), he feared that he might love his fur babies more than his newborn.

Shortly after the birth of his son in 2014, he told ExtraTV, “I actually said to Lauren beforehand, ‘What if I like the dogs more than him? ‘Because I’ve never had a baby before, and she said, ‘You’re gonna be absolutely fine’, and then literally within seconds of him being born, I got it.”

Luckily, like him, Eric is a huge dog lover. Simon Cowell often posts pictures of his son and family cuddling and playing with the fur buddies on his Instagram
