The age of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s dog Dutch is 4. The actor debuted his pup on Instagram on July 2020, posing with the fluffy face which the fans instantly fell in love with.

While introducing the “newest member of the family” the actor mentioned that Dutch is a “10-months-old, named after my character in Predator.” At the time, the pet canine weighed 103 pounds, and was “slightly afraid of Lulu [the donkey].” However, the Terminator star believed the duo will be “best friends soon.”

And Arnold Schwarzenegger is not only a dog lover. As mentioned earlier, the actor also has other pet animals which includes mini donkey named Lulu,  a pig named Schnelly, a mini pony named Whiskey, and pups: Noodle, Cherry, Dutch and Schnitzel.

Sharing a hilarious incident, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s “Fubar” co-star Monica Barbaro told TV Insider, “On Zoom, he’s got a cigar in his mouth. His [pet] donkey walks up, he gives him a cookie. You’re like, ‘OK, this is not what I expected but also everything I could have possibly hoped for!’”

The breed of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s dog Dutch is Alaskan Malamute. Their heavy bones, waterproof coat, and dense bones suggest their origin as an Arctic sled dog. They weigh 75-85 pounds and their lifespan is 10-14 years. 

Arnold Schwarzenegger loves his animals and always feels better after being with them. Talking about his pet animals elevate his mood, he told The Hollywood Reporter, “Sometimes I get out of bed and feel shitty. But I get on a bike or go feed the animals and suddenly I feel great.”
