Treatments for Iris Bombe in Dogs

Firstly, your vet will ask about your dog’s symptoms. Secondly, your vet will ask about your dog’s full medical history. This will include breed-specific problems.

Thirdly, a full physical examination will be carried out. Special attention will be paid to the eyes. The pressure within the eyeballs is also measured. This process is called tonometry.

Generally, treatment depends on the cause of the condition. For example, laser surgery can be used for any iris irregularity. Additionally, medication can help with eyeball pressure problems.
