Pit Bull Puppy Saves Teenager From Rapist In Brooklyn

Apollo is an adorable five-month-old Pit Bull puppy who normally wouldn’t hurt anyone. But when his owner’s girlfriend, 18-year-old Maya Fairweather, was attacked by a would-be rapist, the protective hero pup did what he had to do to keep her safe. It started when Fairweather decided to take Apollo for a walk in Brooklyn’s Red Hook Recreation Area park at around 10 pm.

Fairweather had her headphones on to listen to music while Apollo walked beside her. Suddenly she felt someone yank her headphones off and grab her. She thought it might be her boyfriend, Apollo’s owner Carlos Guzman, but when she turned around a stranger pushed her to the ground and started taking off her pants. That’s when Apollo took action and bit the man in the leg.

Fairweather was able to get up and run across the street while the man struggled with the hero Pit Bull clamped to his leg. Eventually, the attacker was able to shake the dog off and escape. Fairweather ran back to the apartment, and police are still looking for the attacker. But thanks to Apollo, Fairweather is safe, and hopefully the attacker limped off with some permanent damage.
