You want your dog to be clean and smell nice but a lot of store bought pet shampoos are full of harsh chemicals. Here’s a recipe for a doggie shampoo you can make at home that is gentle and made from natural ingredients. Give it a try and tell us what you think!
Find a container for your shampoo. An old shampoo container should work just fine or you can find one at your local beauty supply store.
10 oz Water
2 oz Aloe Vera
2 tbsp Liquid Catile Soap (You can find this at Target, Trader Joes, and most grocery stores)
1 tbsp Lavender Oil
2 drops Rosemary Oil
Shake well and voila! You’ve got an all natural pet shampoo that is gentle and will leave your pup smelling fresh and clean.
Always avoid the eyes with any shampoo. It may be natural, but it’s still not safe to rub in your pups eyes.
