100 Dogs Need Homes After Being Rescued From A Puppy Mill In Florida

Last month, the ASPCA raided a puppy mill in Florida and rescued over a hundred dogs from cramped cages and poor conditions. They were suffering from neglect and medical issues, living in filth and never experiencing the love and care they deserved. All of the dogs were moved to a temporary shelter so they could work with veterinarians and behavioral experts in the hopes that they might be made ready for life in forever homes with loving families.

The dogs have all come a long way since then, and they’re being transported throughout the state of Florida so they can be adopted and get the love they never had. There are a wide range of breeds available, including Siberian Huskies, Poodles, and Chihuahuas, so there are plenty of pups to choose from. The ASPCA hopes their plight will draw concerned people out to the shelters.

As these dogs are adopted out, some of the dogs from the puppy mill require more rehabilitation before they are ready. They understandably suffer from extreme fear, and they’ve never been socialized before. They will spend time in the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center in New Jersey with experts until they are able to be adopted, too. We hope all these poor dogs find homes.
