By 6:08, she’s in position closer to the entrance, still giving him the benefit of the doubt (maybe he stopped to grab her a snack?). At 6:13, she’s in the hallway staring up at the wall like she’s fact-checking the clock, visibly disappointed.
Then the timeline spirals. At 6:23, she rushes toward the door, barks once, then shoots Mom a look that basically says, Can you please call this man? Minutes tick by — 6:25, 6:32, 6:36 — and her barks start sounding like she’s filing an official complaint. By 6:42, she’s furious; by 6:43, she hears him and launches into excited-but-offended barking, pacing like she’s ready to scold him through the door.
When he finally walks in, she’s thrilled for half a second… then remembers her tantrum. She grabs her bone, almost brings it to him, then spins away to resume ignoring him.
