Video: Owner’s Service Pug Is Their ‘Partner in Crime’

If loyalty had a face (and a slightly mischievous grin), it would be Papi’s. The video, posted by @papitheservicepug, pretty much confirms what we all suspected — Papi’s got better teamwork skills than half of us. His human, Denise, tells him, “Go get me the wallet,” and Papi immediately sets off. It’s like he’s been waiting his whole life for this mission.

The service Pug trots down the hallway, leaps onto the bedside table, and nabs the wallet. He does that right in front of someone calling out to stop him. Seconds later, he’s back beside Denise, face full of pride, and maybe a hint of, “We’re rich now, right?”

The video blew up fast — over 120K likes and counting — because everyone loves a good ‘partner in crime’ story when the partner has four legs. Once the wallet has been secured, Denise flips it open to reveal a few crisp 100-dollar bills. She laughs and says, “Let’s go,” and Papi’s already halfway to the door.

When she realizes she’s forgotten her shoes, he just waits there like a tiny, patient getaway driver. Once they’re buckled into the car, he gives her a high five. The screen flashing, “On our way to spend some SHMONEYYY.”

Their first stop? Obviously, pup cups — the man’s gotta get paid. Papi licks the whipped cream like he’s celebrating a flawless heist. When he turns towards the camera from the car window, the in-video text says, “That’s the face of a successful thief.” Then they hit the store, where he proudly carries a plush toy set through the aisles — until he rips one, earning a playful scolding: “You gotta pay for that, brother.”

On the way back, they roll through the neighborhood nice and slow. They have the windows down and are grinning like two partners fresh off a job well done. Back home, he’s losing his mind over the toy — the one technically paid for with his “earnings.” As one commenter put it perfectly: “And they say crime doesn’t pay.”
