Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently adopted a Beagle rescued from a Virginia breeding facility, part of an unprecedented rescue operation by The Human Society. The royal beagle has been lovingly named Mamma Mia, and has already gained a whole lot of attention from fans. She will join the Sussexes’ two other dogs: another Beagle named Guy, and a Black Labrador named Pula.

However, unlike the other 4,000 rescued Beagles, Mamma Mia may soon be on her way to become a cover model.

Deals To Make You Wag Your Tail

The Express reports that the royal couple has received numerous branding offers for their new seven-year-old dog. On top of the couples’ already-generous deals with companies like Spotify and Netflix, Youtuber and royal expert Neil Sean says, “according to a very good source, it’s very difficult to turn down the ‘eye-watering’ sums that are offered.”

Fortunately, Sean believes the couple did not adopt Mamma Mia solely to leverage her for profit. Pointedly, he states they haven’t sought out any of the deals. Rather, the calls have been arriving to them. As of the moment, he says, they haven’t made any commitments.

What the Future Might Hold

Of course, the couple is not without commitments of their own. Between raising a family, managing their careers, and a large list of humanitarian efforts, the royal couple has plenty to focus on as it is. Yet, who knows what lies in store for Mamma Mia?

“Right now, of course, they’re saying no,” Niel says, “but in the future, can you imagine sort of a hound – however sweet they may look – doing any sort of advertising deal with a distant relation to our British monarchy is worth lots and lots of money.”

Needless to say, we’re glad to see both Meghan and Prince Harry weigh their options seriously. Mamma Mia has had a tough few years already. She’s probably happy to stay out of the spotlight for the time being.
