It’s National Dog Day, a day to celebrate all things canine and to treat our best friends extra special and show our appreciation. You can continue the Dog Day festivities by heading over to a website that will give you the best thing you’ll see on the internet today: random dog gifs!
A website called openpuppies.com gives you the goods by loading a new dog gif every time you return to the site. If you’re finished smiling and saying, “Aww,” after watching one pup, just close the page and visit it again in a new window. You’ll get a new pooch gif to gawk at. Wasting time has never been so adorable. (Here’s a tip: hit the space bar to keep loading one new gif after another.)
There’s also a link to check out the Washington Animal Rescue League for some sweet adoptable pups if these clips make you feel like you need a brand new furry friend to help make your own gifs.
We’ve already come across snippets of a skateboarding Jack Russell Terrier, a flock of Labrador puppies running through the snow, and a Puggle with hiccups. This site is going in our bookmarks bar for whenever we need a pup fix. It’s certainly kicking off our National Dog Day right!
