Instead of finding a mess, she caught her American Bully lying flat on the rug. Her young daughter was carefully placing building blocks around his body. The sweet dog stayed completely still, letting the toddler play her new favorite game without moving a muscle. The pup simply wagged his tail and closed his eyes while she built a custom fence along his fur.

The mom heads into the playroom after noticing that the American Bully named Hippo and the toddler have been unusually quiet. There they are, sitting on the carpet together. Hippo is lying in the middle of a little block setup, with pieces arranged all around him. The toddler sits behind him and keeps adding to it, carefully choosing where each block should go next.

Hippo’s tail is still wagging, though, so he seems perfectly happy with the arrangement. The toddler keeps building around him, and the dog simply closes his eyes and lets her continue. He does not get up, move the blocks, or try to join in. He just stays there while his little sister works.

The clip has gone seriously viral, picking up more than 470,000 likes in just 12 hours. Viewers keep commenting on how patient Hippo is and how much he seems to enjoy being included. One viewer joked that she was building a fence around his “tail perimeter,” which may be the biggest challenge of the whole project. Another pointed out that Hippo is “exactly where he wants to be.”
