Golden Retriever Sleeps Outside Toddler’s Room Every Night, Until a Special Surprise Changes That

Beau may be a family dog, but his relationship with one toddler looks a lot more like that of two inseparable siblings. Every night, the Golden Retriever would become upset when Frankie went to bed and would stay outside his room rather than leave him alone. Then, a new bed finally allowed Beau to stay close to Frankie all night.

Upset Golden Retriever finally gets to sleep with toddler in a bed big enough to fit them both

A video shared by @beaunosebones captures Beau’s adorable bedtime routine with his toddler brother, Frankie. According to the child’s mom, Beau becomes upset whenever it is time for Frankie to go to bed and seems determined to remain nearby until morning.

In the clip, Beau can be seen sitting beside Frankie’s bed as the toddler sleeps, seemingly keeping watch over him. Even when his mom manages to get him out, Beau waits patiently by the door, apparently hoping he will be allowed back in.

His mom tries to reassure him that he will see Frankie again in the morning. She even tells Beau that perhaps they can sleep together once Frankie gets a “big boy bed.”

That promise eventually becomes reality. In a follow-up clip, Frankie gets a new, much larger bed that has enough space for both the toddler and Beau to lie down comfortably. When the bedroom door opens to reveal the new sleeping arrangement, both Beau and Frankie appear excited about the surprise.

The final moments show Beau comfortably lying beside Frankie in the spacious new bed. After spending so many nights waiting outside the toddler’s room, the Golden Retriever finally gets what he seemingly wanted all along.

The mom wrote in the caption, “I think they both approve,” and viewers clearly agreed. One commenter joked, “Cannot tell who is happier about the big boy bed- Frankie or his Beau Beau,” while another said, “they’re about to have the sweetest dreams.”

Someone else called them “Two good boys in their new big boy bed,” while another viewer simply wrote, “Omg this is the cutest thing ever!”

With Beau finally able to sleep beside Frankie, the pair now have plenty of room for what looks like the perfect bedtime routine.
