Baby ducks got a pile of toys, but one cream-colored retriever decided the setup needed his personal inspection. In a new reel on Instagram, Booj creeps into the ducks’ play pool.
Mom steps away, and he helps himself to a fuzzy toy. The gentle dog treats the babies’ nursery like a treasure hunt. Then he reacts dramatically when mom catches him holding the evidence. It turns farm life into a funny little crime scene.
Golden Retriever steals a toy from the ‘babies’ and screams after mom catches him
The reel comes from @dojeauxcreamgoldens, an account run by Kindle Rister. The clip shows Booj around a small inflatable duck area. It has baby ducks, floating toys, and colorful pieces. The caption says the creator bought the baby ducks several toys. However, Booj decided they did not need one. The on-screen joke calls it a “Sneak attack,” and the scene becomes a scream babies comedy.
Booj starts like a careful inspector, not an obvious thief. One caption jokes, “If I just walk over here real slow, they won’t see me.” Another adds, “I’ll just get this out of your way.” He noses through the toys and grabs an item. Then he moves away from the ducks and looks proud of the mission. The next punchline reads, “A THIEF!!!” while Booj holds the stolen prize in his mouth.
The humor works because Booj looks too pleased to feel guilty. Retrievers often enjoy carrying soft toys, and he treats the duck pen like a shared playroom. The scream babies setup also makes the scene funnier because the tiny ducks keep swimming beside him. The caption frames the whole moment as farm-life chaos, not real trouble.
Viewers immediately defended the accused. One wrote, “Booj, those ducks need to learn to share! Finders, keepers!❤️???.” Another added, “A thief for sure! He’s stolen all our hearts!!!! ????????.” Others wrote, “Those are Booj’s toys,” “Babahahahahaha he’s like ummmmmm how about this just becomes mine ?,” and “Ma’am I believe that fuzzy is the pup’s toy!!!”
