Dog Can’t Get Enough of His New Twin Toy & Wants Little Girl To Join the Fun

Meeting your lookalike would probably leave anyone doing a double take, and it turns out dogs aren’t much different. When a Blue Staffy named Tommy came face-to-face with a plush toy that looked just like him, he wasn’t quite sure what to make of it. His human sister, Little A, was equally intrigued, and together they turned the unusual encounter into a heartwarming moment that has delighted Instagram users.

The clip, shared on Instagram by @tommybluestaff, opens with a lifelike Staffy plush sitting in the middle of the room. Tommy’s mom, who is behind the camera, points the toy out to him while Little A stands nearby, quietly watching to see what happens next.

Tommy wastes no time walking over to inspect the mysterious newcomer. He carefully lowers his nose to sniff the plush, only to suddenly jump backward as if the resemblance catches him off guard. His brief retreat draws a laugh, but it is clear his curiosity has already taken over.

Rather than giving up, Tommy cautiously approaches again for another look. This time, he seems much more confident. After another round of sniffing, he starts nibbling on one of the plush’s ears before happily engaging with it like any other toy. It doesn’t take long for the real Tommy to accept his lookalike.

Little A’s reaction unfolds a little differently. At first, the toddler repeatedly says “no” while keeping a close eye on the stuffed dog. She appears unsure whether to trust the plush, preferring to let Tommy investigate first. As she watches him grow more comfortable, her own hesitation slowly begins to fade.

Before long, Little A joins Tommy beside the plush. She gently pats it, leans in to kiss it, and even offers Tommy 2.0 one of her own toys to play with. One of the sweetest moments comes when she sits down to read the stuffed Staffy a book, treating it with the same care and affection she shows her real four-legged companion.
