This rescue dog from the California desert, named Cactus, is living his best life, thanks to his dad, Mike Henry Bown, who is making sure he is loved and pampered in every way possible. That is why the pooch now has its own room, which is full of his favourite toys.
To show how much the pup loves his new space and whether he can get his “sleepy rescue pup out of his own full bed,” the dad uploaded a video on @cactustherescue. The clip shows the dad calling out Cactus only to see him all tucked in his bed with his big brown teddy, refusing to get up as he is still “sleepy.”
Although the pooch is wagging his tail and keen to get up, he in fact chooses to cuddle with his soft toy and rest on the bed. But as soon as the dad says, “What if we go get Foodies and we go outside for a walk,” Cactus gets up immediately without any tantrums, ready to go out with dad.
Looking at the pup’s reaction to his bed, the dad says in the caption that “it’s wild to think Cactus was abandoned at one point.” He added that Cactus “doesn’t always sleep through the night in there though.”
