However, the same can’t be said for this pooch as she keeps her mom at arm’s length, leaving the paw parent amused. Meanwhile, it looks like the pup’s behaviour even surprised many followers as they left some reactions on the dog and the bed video, which is slowly drawing attention from the pet lovers online.

Dogs are experts at reading mood. They know when their parents need cuddles, kisses, and just an embrace to feel good. And it looks like even this pet pooch named Shaylee Rose is well aware of her mom, Abbie’s, habit. But instead of going to her mom, she maintains quite a distance from her, hinting she is not in the mood for cuddles right now.
Uploaded on @shayleethepup, the clip shows the pooch on the bed with her mom. However, instead of lying down next to her, as most of the pups do, Shaylee does the unexpected. She chooses to stay in one corner of the bed, far away from mom. The pooch circles at her spot and then sits quietly while looking at the mom as if hinting that she is perfectly fine here. Why? Just to avoid cuddling with the owner.
Even the dog mom shares the truth behind her canine’s behaviour in the caption, saying, “my dog picking the furthest spot from me on the bed bc she knows I wanted to cuddle…” “oh silly meeee,” the mom mentioned in the post, which drew quite some reaction from the followers.
